Flippin' Out

The other day we woke up bored and decided it would be really fun to go to Lowes Xtreme Air Sports. It is nestled away in Provo but man is it a TREASURE! I have done a "little" gymnastics back in my glory days, but Brady is just crazy and has no fear so it was great for him too. They even let us bring Andie in as long as we were with her the entire time. She loved going into the foam pits but would get really frustrated when she'd try to get out and just sink deeper and deeper in.

Here I am in all my glory doing a back layout. These tramps are super springy so it was really easy to get air.

Brady doing a STANDING back flip. No biggie.

FOAM PIT FUN!

It really was so fun! If you are ever in the provo are go check it out!

Work It Out

Brady and I have been doing Crossfit for a few months now. We L-O-V-E it! We can't get enough. It is all based out of a small warehouse and they just have a small amount of weights, pull-up bars, ab mats, boxes, kettle bells, med balls, rowing machines and that's about it. But the amount of workouts are endless. Here are a few of the exercises we do.

Me doing my wall climbs. This is totally one that you can do at home and it is such a great arm and shoulder work out!

Brady doing muscle ups. He has a huge respect for gymnasts now because these are impossibly hard! The other day his entire workout was 30 muscle ups for time. He did it in a little under 7 minutes. AMAZING!

Jennie doing LEGIT pullups. PS, I played 4 years of college soccer and have never been able to do 1 stinkin pull up....guess who did their first pull up ever yesterday! ME!!! WHOOT WHOOT!

Here I am trying to do a clean and Jerk workout. The clean is the first part, then the jerk is the part where I push it above my head. It was one of the hardest workouts I have ever done. So satisfying.

Here is Andie doing her workout. We are usually brainwashing her with baby einstein on Brady's computer while we do our workouts, but today she just wanted to get in on the action!

Slip'n Sliding

Since last summer I was HUGE and pregnant and didn't feel like being in the 100* weather, I did not get much of a tan. And, since it isn't summer unless I am tan, I decided it was time to get me a little vitamin D! My wonderful hubs was out and about running errands and came home with a SLIP'N SLIDE! I have not been on one of these since, OHHHH, about 1990 so I was thrilled. We had so much fun, Brady (and Andie) LOVED it. Here is a little of the action.

Andie's favorite parts were trying to grab the water, eating all the grass, and splashing around.

We had so much fun and can't wait to go out again this week!

Cont.....

Cont....

The next day we went on our little hike. It was so crazy because there was still snow on the ground where we went. All Andie wanted to do was eat the snow. It was just so crazy to see it there in July!

It was such a beautiful day outside. The clouds were so amazing and the mountains were so green! Not to mention the 73* weather. Perfect.

4th of July and cousin time

We had such a fun week last week. We went to the 4th of July parade with the Fryers in the morning, and then the night of the 4th we went to Kamas to visit my sister-in-law Hilary and Andies adorable cousin Landon. The parade was pretty boring... just ask Brady. We made him go save us seats at 4:45am the morning of the parade. He came back so frustrated. Apparently people were not supposed to start saving seats until 5am, but we were mistaken. Here were a few of his remarks as he crawled back into bed; "there are some psychotic morons in this town" "People had couches out there, and caution tape. You would think it was a crime scene." "Cops were patrolling the area as if a riot is going to break out." It was hilarious! Anyway, the only thing Andie really enjoyed was the huge blown up characters and hanging out the the Fryers!

After the parade we drove to Kamas to spend some time with the fam. We had so much fun! Andie went on her first 4wheeler ride, we went to the park, we went to on a little hike, and just played until she couldn't stay awake 1 minute longer.

Finn, Landon, Hilary, Andie and me headed on our first ride

Fun at the park

Love seeing dad trying to squeeze through the hole, and I especially LOVE a snaggle-tooth!

Andie loved trying to climb up the climbing wall

Uncles+Football

We had some visitors the last few weeks. McKay had football camp one week and Aaron had camp the next week. We had so much fun having both uncles in town (including half uncle Conner.)

We went to IKEA with Uncle McKay. I love that place because its amazing how they can squeeze a king size bed, washer/dryer, kitchen, bathroom, 42" tv, storage, etc in a 250 sq ft area. It boggles my mind considering I can't seem to find enough space for half of my wardrobe in our apt.

McKay and Andie testing out the awesome chairs in IKEA (yes that is a nasty rat tail in McKay's hair)

Also, my parents came in town to watch part of Aaron's camp so we got to see them too! I love having family come visit. Fortunately while my parents were in town we all gained about 200 lbs. Not kidding. Magleby's, Texas Roadhouse, Kneaders, Cafe Rio, Zupas, Rubios, The Sweet Tooth Fairy, Cocoa Bean, and the BYU bookstore (mint brownies anyone?). YUM! We also went bowling at BYU... so fun.

Here is all the action.

And of Course little Andie had to try too.

After my parents left AZ and Conner really wanted to go to the nickel arcade in Orem...so we all went and got our fix of lazer tag, skee ball, DDR etc in. What is it about arcades that are so much fun? We couldn't stop playing that stupid game where you put the token in and try to get it in the exact spot to push the other 30 tokens over the edge; and in the end all you get is tickets. Sooo addicting!

Since there wasn't much for Andie to do there we thought we would put her on a carousel... I think it was the most amazing experience of her life!

Fun in the sun

Some of our greatest friends in Utah are the Fryer's. They have us over for Sunday dinner almost every week and they are just so great to us! The other day they invited Andie and I to go to the pool in Provo and have a fun day in the sun with them. Andie has been pretty unsure about the pool at my parents and at Brady's parents house, so I wasn't sure how she would do. Let me just say, she LOVED it! The kids took her and ran all around the pool with her, and even took her down the water slide. We all had a blast.

Andie never minds when we out things on her head or over her eyes. Its pretty funny.

Father's Day

After Brady took the DAT he came to Modesto to have a week of R&R before he got back into the swing of things. While we were there we celebrated Father's Day. It was so neat to see him on his first Father's day. He is so sweet with Andie and let me tell you she knows when he is not around. In fact, while I was in Modesto for the 6 weeks he was studying Andie of course didn't sleep that great. Up at lest 2x a night. So, I couldn't wait for Brady to get back so he could do the night shift with her and get a taste of a bad night (since I'm convinced he still has not had 1 bad nights sleep since August 13, 2010). Well, the first night he is with us she sleeps 13 hours straight through. Awesome right. It's amazing how they catch on to those things so young.
